Lot 683: An assortment of miniature lampwork glass aquatic and marine animal figurines
An assortment of miniature aquatic figurines handcrafted from lampwork glass. The collection features various torch-working techniques including internal colour casing, applied glass details for eyes and fins, and surface patterning. The group includes a teal-bodied fish with translucent red fins and black spot detailing, a clear and green fish with a pointed snout and white fins, and a blue seahorse featuring a green dorsal fin. Also included is a clear-bodied fish with internal blue, yellow, and green speckled patterning, a pink and white creature with black eyes, and a blue and green stylized bird or fish figurine. One piece consists of a tiny blue fish contained within a miniature clear glass bottle with a cork stopper. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the pieces.
