Lot 704: A Trio of Vintage Leonardo Glazed Earthenware Tractor-Form Tea Wares
A trio of vintage Leonardo glazed earthenware tractor-form tea wares, comprising two teapots with matching lids and a cream jug. Each item is relief-moulded in the form of a stylised vintage tractor finished in a vibrant red glaze. The teapots are constructed with handles and spouts textured and coloured to resemble sheaves of wheat or straw, with the removable lids forming the upper engine section and driver’s seat. The cream jug features a similar wheat-sheaf handle and an open-top configuration. The polychrome decoration includes black and yellow detailing to the wheels and engine components, set against golden-yellow straw accents. Printed in black to the underside of the base is a mark consisting of the words LEONARDO and home separated by a horizontal dividing line.
