A collection of earthenware tea and dinner wares featuring an underglaze transfer-printed design in dark brown. The decoration consists of a central floral spray, likely depicting stylized peonies or chrysanthemums, enclosed within a double border comprising a geometric honeycomb inner band and a trailing floral outer band. The set includes a large lidded oval tureen on a matching stand, a medium lidded circular tureen, a teapot with a domed lid, a lidded sugar bowl, a cream jug, a gravy boat, a small rectangular serving dish, and a quantity of graduated plates, teacups, and saucers. The forms are characterized by scalloped edges and moulded foliate handles. A rectangular backstamp is printed on the base of the pieces; however, the characters within the mark are not clearly legible and the maker cannot be identified by name.
