A collection of blue and white earthenware and porcelain decorative items, featuring traditional Dutch windmill and landscape motifs. The group includes a large circular plate with a central transfer-printed scene of a building with twin spires and a bridge, bearing the printed word Delft in a stylized script beneath the scene. This plate is finished with a wide border of floral and foliate motifs. Also included are two smaller circular plates featuring windmill scenes within geometric and floral borders, and a set of six circular earthenware coasters housed in a matching upright ceramic holder, all decorated with blue floral transfer prints. The assortment is completed by a shallow circular bowl with a scalloped rim depicting figures in a garden setting, a small deep bowl with a sparse floral design, and a small pedestal-form vessel, likely an egg cup or miniature vase, featuring a windmill landscape. The pieces are decorated using underglaze transfer-printing techniques. Aside from the word Delft on the largest plate, no other maker’s marks, factory stamps, or country-of-origin marks are visible.
