Estimated price: £5 - £8

Buyer's Premium: 20%

Sold for: £9

A group of steel and wood hand tools of forged construction. The collection includes two double-faced sledgehammers with heavy rectangular heads mounted on straight wooden handles. Also included is a single-bit felling axe featuring a flared blade and a curved wooden handle designed for ergonomic grip. Completing the group is a small hand hatchet with a straight-grained wooden handle. The hatchet features an oval gold-toned adhesive label on the handle with a red border and central black text; however, the characters are not legible as a specific maker’s name. Each tool shows evidence of utility use with forged steel heads and weathered timber handles.
