A wood and iron double block and tackle lifting assembly, comprising two matching pulley blocks and a length of turquoise three-strand rope. Each block features wooden cheeks secured by internal iron straps and heavy-duty forged-steel hooks. The blocks are of double-sheave construction, designed to provide mechanical advantage for industrial or maritime lifting. The tackle consists of a thick, three-strand synthetic rope, likely polypropylene, threaded through the sheaves with one terminal end finished with green adhesive tape and a spliced eye. A circular metal plate is visible on the side of the upper block and a white rectangular label on the lower block; however, neither bears legible characters to identify a specific maker.
