Lot 279: A Collection of Ceramics, Silver-Plated Flatware, and Commemorative Souvenirs
An assortment of decorative objects and household items. The ceramic portion includes a set of plain white porcelain teacups and saucers, an ornate teacup featuring green and floral decoration, and a small blue jasperware-style dish in the manner of Wedgwood. Further ceramic items include a small oval dish with Lucky White Heather and From Scotland transfers, a small transfer-printed souvenir pot, and a snowman figurine bell. The metalware comprises a cased set of silver-plated flatware presented in a red satin-lined box and several packaged silver-plated souvenir spoons. One spoon is a commemorative piece for the 1977 Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee, with the box printed 1977 THE QUEEN’S SILVER JUBILEE. Other items in the lot include a Super Hero Grandad keychain, a large red mottled faux-leather album, and a decorative string featuring pinecones and white heart ornaments. Marks on the souvenir spoons and packaging state SILVER PLATED.
Condition report:
The porcelain items appear to be in generally good condition. The silver-plated spoons exhibit some surface tarnish. General light wear and signs of use are present across the collection.
