Lot 416: A Collection of British Ceramics and Stoneware including Wedgwood and Royal Worcester
A collection of 20th-century British ceramics, stoneware, and decorative household items. The lot includes a Wedgwood bone china circular dish in the Clementine pattern featuring floral sprays and a piece of Royal Worcester fine bone china with the factory mark. Also present is an oval porcelain bowl with a pierced latticework border and floral sprig decoration to the interior. Transfer-printed items include a red landscape dish with a watermill scene and an oval platter with a fruit and foliage pattern. The stoneware selection features a large salt-glazed Barton & Guestier flagon with original labels and cork, a two-tone glazed jug, and a white globular vase. Miscellaneous items include a boxed set of six turned wooden egg cups and a small triangular dish with orange and blue glazing.
Condition report:
The items generally appear in good used condition with minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age. Some manufacturing imperfections are present. The Barton & Guestier flagon shows typical wear and discolouration to the paper labels.
