Lot 552: A Collection of Waterford, Edinburgh, and Bohemia Crystal Hock Glasses and Vases
A collection of lead crystal glassware comprising a set of seven wine hock glasses and two small decorative vases. The hock glasses feature rounded bowls decorated with vertical wedge cuts radiating from the base, supported by multi-faceted stems on plain circular feet, a style consistent with the Sheila pattern. The two vases include one of flared conical form with a star-cut base and one of baluster form, both featuring intricate geometric diamond and vertical wedge cutting. The items are crafted from high-quality lead crystal, evidenced by their clarity and high refractive index. Physical examination of the bases reveals etched markings for Waterford Crystal, Edinburgh Crystal, and vintage Bohemia glass hock glasses. The etched letters WATERFORD and partial CRYSTAL marks are clearly visible on several items.
