Lot 625: A pair of oversized contemporary hand-blown glasses with smoked glass feet
Two modern-style stemmed glasses of significantly oversized proportions, suitable for decorative or novelty use. The pair consists of one tall tulip-shaped flute and one wide-bowled balloon glass. Both items are manufactured from clear, thin-walled blown glass with slender clear stems. A distinctive design feature is the contrasting dark-tinted circular foot on each piece, appearing as smoked or black glass. The surfaces are plain without any cut patterns or engravings. No maker’s marks or etched signatures are visible on the bases or bodies of the items.
Condition report:
Both glasses are in good condition. There is visible surface dust and light clouding consistent with surface residue. No chips, cracks, or significant scratches were observed.
