Lot 310: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Studio Pottery, and Miscellaneous Objects
This lot comprises a collection of ceramic wares, studio pottery, and decorative items. Included is a square, tapered earthenware planter or wall pocket decorated with transfer-printed passionflower and butterfly motifs in the style of the Portmeirion Botanic Garden range. The collection also features a circular lidded vessel, likely porcelain, with a domed lid and body decorated with floral sprays in a palette of iron-red, cobalt blue, and green. Studio pottery elements include a shallow bowl with an interior featuring reactive splashed glazes in red, blue, and black, a small green-glazed cup, and a stoneware pestle or stopper. Utility wares consist of a cylindrical stoneware mug in a buff-tan glaze, a cream-coloured reeded pot with a contrasting brown-glazed rim, and two small square honey-glazed earthenware jars, one of which retains a cork stopper.
