Lot 414: An Assortment of Contemporary Souvenir and Decorative Glassware
A mixed collection of contemporary glassware, comprising various stems, tumblers, and souvenir items. The lot includes a Hard Rock Cafe hurricane glass with a printed logo and guitar motif, featuring the word HURRICANE printed below; a heavy glass beer tankard with a gold-bordered paper label for Herborner Bier Premium; and a conical beer glass etched for THE ARMS INN 2006 Mini Beer Festival, 7th 8th 9th July 2006. Decorative pieces include a tankard with an etched illustration of a cricket player and a wine glass etched with Happy Birthday. The collection features a single cut glass wine goblet with a diamond-cut pattern to the bowl and a multi-faceted stem, resembling Austrian lead crystal such as the Le Grande Fleur pattern by Oscar De La Renta. Also included are multiple champagne flutes, wine stems, and straight-sided highball glasses. The items are housed in a large black plastic storage crate.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in generally good used condition. The cut glass goblet exhibits good clarity and sharp faceting. The remainder of the lot consists of standard soda-lime utility glass. Some pieces may require cleaning, and prospective buyers should expect minor rim chips typical of mixed glassware lots.
