Lot 49: An Assortment of Garden Tools including a Wilkinson Sword Power Plus Digging Spade
An assortment of long-handled and short-handled garden tools. The collection includes a digging spade featuring a grey-coated metal shaft and a plastic D-shaped grip, with the shaft bearing the orange marks for Wilkinson Sword Power Plus. The lot also contains a pair of bypass loppers with wooden shafts and steel blades, a lawn rake with a metal fan-shaped spring-tine head on a wooden handle, and a Dutch hoe with a metal head on a wooden handle. Additionally, the group includes a pair of long-handled shears with black and yellow grips, a small weeding hoe or scuffler, and a planting tool with a wooden handle.
Condition report:
The items are in used, as found condition. There is significant surface oxidation and rust visible on the metal heads, particularly on the spade, loppers, and rake. The wooden handles show signs of weathering, staining, and typical wear from outdoor use. The tools appear structurally complete, though they have not been tested for mechanical performance.
