Lot 6: A Vintage Red Painted Steel and Wood Five Step Ladder
A mid-to-late 20th-century single-sided step ladder featuring a steel frame with a red-painted finish. The ladder is constructed with five wooden treads and includes a tall integrated handrail extension at the apex. The structure incorporates a folding rear support frame. An illegible yellow rectangular label is located on the right-hand side rail, and a faded white mark is present on the left-hand rail. The construction consists of a metal frame with wooden steps.
Condition report:
The item is in well-used condition. There is extensive paint loss and chipping to the red metal frame, with surface oxidation present in areas of exposed steel. The wooden treads show significant signs of wear, ingrained dirt, and heavy use. The overall structure remains intact; however, the ladder has not been tested for mechanical stability or load-bearing capacity. This item is sold as a collectable or decorative piece.
