Lot 7: A Collection of Reclaimed Solid Teak Planks
A collection of solid wood planks identified as teak, salvaged from a dismantled bookcase. The timber exhibits a prominent grain and a reddish-brown tone. The group consists of several pieces of varying lengths and widths, with some featuring tongue-and-groove edging and visible joinery details. A handwritten paper label is attached to one plank which reads BUNDLE OF SOLID TEAK PLANKS FROM A DISMANTLED BOOKCASE B. Some pieces bear small white adhesive labels with printed numbers, including the number 007.
Condition report:
The timber shows signs of previous use consistent with reclaimed furniture components. Surface wear, dust, and evidence of previous construction, including joinery and surface abrasions, are present across the collection.
