Buyer's Premium:

This collection consists of three distinct pieces of English ceramic ware. The first item is a Poole Pottery earthenware teapot of mid-century modern design, featuring a vibrant orange glazed body and a white-glazed lid decorated with a black and orange stylised floral transfer-print. The form is characterised by a rounded body, an integrated handle, and a high-set spout. The base is marked with a green printed oval containing the word POOLE above a dolphin emblem and ENGLAND below. The second item is a Wedgwood bone china vase in the Wild Strawberry pattern. The ovoid-shaped vessel features a short, flared neck and is decorated with transfer-printed motifs of strawberry vines, green leaves, fruit, and pink blossoms, finished with a fine gilt line to the rim. The base bears a black printed mark with a W monogram, WEDGWOOD, WILD STRAWBERRY, BONE CHINA, and MADE IN ENGLAND. The third item is a Copeland Spode stoneware commemorative decanter produced in a Jasperware style. The bulbous bottle features a tapering neck and is decorated with white relief-applied sprigged motifs on a deep cobalt blue ground, with a light grey central band. The decoration includes portrait medallions of King George V and Queen Mary set within banners beneath a crown. The neck is inscribed Coronation of King George V & Queen Mary June 22nd 1911. The base features a printed COPELAND Late SPODE mark within a rectangular frame and impressed marks for COPELAND and ENGLAND, alongside the letter S. The piece is complete with a cork stopper.
