Lot 725: A contemporary square glass-topped side table with oak legs and metal frame
A contemporary square side or occasional table in a minimalist industrial style. The piece features a thick, clear glass top with a plain edge, resting upon a mixed-material base. The construction consists of four square-section solid oak legs with an inset black-finished metal square sub-frame that passes through notched joints at the top of each leg. No maker’s marks or signatures are present on the item. A small white rectangular inventory label is adhered to the glass top.
Condition report:
The table is in fair used condition. The glass top exhibits significant surface scratching and a large area of brownish-red residue or staining along one edge and corner. The oak legs and metal frame show light surface wear and dust consistent with age and use. One leg shows a minor scuff near the base.
