Lot 750: Mid-20th Century White Painted Eight Drawer Workshop Cabinet
A mid-20th-century utilitarian storage cabinet of single-piece construction. The unit is constructed from a light wood or composite material, featuring a white painted finish to the exterior and drawer fronts. The layout consists of eight drawers arranged in two rows of four; the top row contains four tall vertical drawers, and the bottom row contains four shorter drawers. The drawer interiors display a natural wood finish. The hardware comprises a variety of metal pull knobs, including six uniform circular silver-toned knobs, one cylindrical silver-toned knob, and one decorative antiqued brass-toned replacement. A small white rectangular sticker bearing the handwritten characters 240 is present on the lower right side. No maker marks are visible.
Condition report:
The item is in well-used condition, consistent with workshop or industrial storage. There is heavy surface staining, scuffing, and significant wear to the white paintwork throughout. Hardware is mismatched.
