Lot 757: A Pair of Late 20th Century White Laminate Three Drawer Chests
A pair of matching three-drawer chests of modular design, dating from the late 20th century. The units are constructed from engineered wood with a white melamine laminate finish. Each drawer is fitted with a single, horizontally-mounted, polished chrome-effect bow handle. A thin decorative metallic trim strip runs along the top front edge of each unit. The design is typical of mass-market furniture produced for the United Kingdom retail market during the 1970s and 1980s. No manufacturer marks or labels are visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
The items are in used, fair condition. There are visible surface scuffs, minor chips to the laminate edges, and general marks consistent with age and domestic use. The units would benefit from cleaning.
