Lot 759: A late 20th-century pine corner cupboard
A low pine corner storage cabinet or media stand of one-piece construction. The unit features an angled back designed for corner placement. The front is divided into two compartments: the left side contains a pair of cupboard doors with relief-carved arched panels, while the right side is an open-fronted shelving area. The piece is constructed from pine with a natural waxed finish, displaying characteristic knots and grain. It is fitted with dark-toned metal knob pulls and barrel hinges. The base is finished with a shaped decorative apron. The interior contains fixed wooden shelving.
Condition report:
The item shows surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with age and use. There is a small circular aperture in the centre of the decorative apron at the base. The doors and hinges appear functional.
