Lot 784: A Late 20th Century Yew Wood Reproduction Sideboard
A small yew wood reproduction sideboard in the English Regency revival style. The rectangular top features yew wood veneers with cross-banded borders and fine inlaid stringing. The cabinet is designed with a vertical configuration, comprising a bank of three drawers to the left and three cupboard doors to the right. The drawers are fitted with brass-effect swan-neck handles on shaped backplates, while the cupboard doors are finished with small metal escutcheons. The piece is raised on short bracket feet.
Condition report:
Fair to good condition. The polished top surface shows visible surface scratches, abrasions, and minor scuffs consistent with age and domestic use. There is light wear to the edges and feet. The structure appears sound.
