Lot 823: Two modern torchiere floor lamps in an antique brass finish
Two modern floor lamps constructed from metal with a brushed antique brass effect finish. The first lamp is a mother and child style torchiere featuring a large upward-facing bowl shade and an integrated, adjustable dome-shaped reading light on a flexible gooseneck arm. The second lamp is a standard torchiere uplighter with a single upward-facing bowl shade. Both lamps are fitted with black power cables and standard UK three-pin plugs. These items are sold as decorative objects and are electrically untested; professional rewiring or PAT testing is recommended before use.
Condition report:
The lamps are in fair used condition with visible dust and cobwebbing to the shades, particularly on the interior of the uplighter bowls. Minor surface scratches and signs of wear consistent with age and use are present. One lamp has clear plastic protective wrapping taped around the upper section of the pole.
