Lot 841: A vintage red and black metal-bound steamer trunk
A mid-20th-century style steamer trunk featuring a bright red textured exterior. The body is reinforced with black metal banding and matching corner protectors. The front is fitted with three metal latches, including a central locking hasp, and a single carrying handle is positioned to the side. The interior is lined with a patterned grey fabric. Marks are present on the central lock plate but are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
The trunk shows typical signs of age and use. There are visible scuffs and scratches to the red surface. The metal hardware exhibits surface oxidation and light corrosion throughout.
