Lot 850: Mid-century modern teak two-tier tea trolley, circa 1960s
A mid-century modern teak two-tier tea trolley or serving cart, dating to the 1960s or 1970s. The piece is constructed from teak and teak veneers, featuring two rectangular tiers with raised, lipped edges to the long sides. The tiers are integrated into a simple rectangular frame. The trolley is supported by four white plastic ball castors. While the design is characteristic of manufacturers such as Arrebo Mobler or Parker, no maker marks or labels are present. The item currently bears a Liskeard Auction Rooms lot tag for Lot 850 and a handwritten sticker numbered 9492.
Condition report:
The item is in poor to fair condition and requires restoration. The top tier shows significant water damage, including large pale stains and multiple dark ring marks. There are numerous surface scratches and scuffs across both tiers and the frame. The castors appear to be intact but show signs of age and use.
