Lot 890: Small Mahogany-Finished Glazed Display Cabinet
A small mahogany-finished hardwood display cabinet of single-piece construction. The unit features twin glazed doors, each containing a single pane of glass set behind a decorative triple-arched wooden overlay at the top. The interior is fitted with two wooden shelves providing three levels of storage or display. The cabinet is raised on bracket feet and is secured by a centrally mounted decorative cast metal latch with a small ring pull. A white adhesive auction lot sticker numbered 5652 is affixed to the front. A cardboard label for Jingyi Steel Pipe and Furniture is present on the side, though the specifications on the label do not match the physical characteristics of the piece.
Condition report:
The cabinet is in good used condition with minor surface abrasions and wear consistent with age and domestic use. The glazing is intact and the latch mechanism is functional.
