Lot 976: A contemporary pine TV media unit together with an assortment of miscellaneous collectibles and household items
A contemporary single-piece low-profile media unit constructed from pine with a medium-toned finish, displaying characteristic grain and knots. The central section is configured with an open shelf for media devices positioned above a single wide drawer. This central arrangement is flanked by two side cupboards. The unit is fitted with turned wooden pull knobs to the drawer and cupboard doors and is raised on four turned bun feet. The cupboard doors feature exposed metal hinges. The unit bears a small white auction sticker with the number 976 to the top right corner.
The lot includes an assortment of miscellaneous items as pictured. These comprise two packaged Isle of Wight Genuine Fossil Collection sets, produced by Jurassic Parts I.W, each containing a certificate of authenticity. Also included is a rectangular glass placemat or small picture depicting a coastal scene of Porthleven harbour and an oval hanging plaque with a rope-effect border featuring an image of a stave church. Internal contents found within the unit include board games such as Ludo and Snakes & Ladders, a Maxell E-240 VHS tape, a DVD titled Ancient Egypt & The Pharaohs, various electronic cables, and a Shell Energy branded router.
Condition report:
The top surface of the pine unit shows visible signs of use and wear, including surface scratches and white residue from previously applied stickers. The wooden finish shows some variations in tone consistent with age. The unit appears structurally sound.
