Lot 998: A Collection of Vintage Costume Jewellery including The Cornish Pedlar and Beaded Items
A collection of vintage costume jewellery featuring a variety of necklaces, bracelets, and brooches. The group includes items with retail tags for The Cornish Pedlar, specifically a double strand of metallic blue beads and a black bead necklace with a large faceted grey patterned stone pendant. Other necklaces comprise a multi-strand beaded strand with a large oval pendant featuring geometric shell inlay, a strand of cream-coloured faux pearls with faceted iridescent glass spacers, and a long strand of mottled peach-coloured cylindrical beads. The collection further includes a black cord necklace with a silver-tone filigree pendant set with a light green cabochon stone. Also present are two pendants with embroidered floral centres in silver-tone and gold-tone frames, a silver-tone bracelet set with rows of black and clear rhinestones, a gold-tone openwork cuff bracelet, and a gold-tone floral brooch with a single faux pearl. Materials used throughout the collection appear to be a mix of base metals, glass, plastic, shell, and stone. No metal purity hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the items.
