Lot 262: A Collection of Royal Doulton Old Country Crafts Plates and Assorted Household Items
This lot features a collection of Royal Doulton bone china collector plates from the Old Country Crafts series, designed by artist Susan Neale. The plates are decorated with transfer-printed scenes of traditional English village life, including thatched cottages, horse-drawn wagons, and figures engaged in rural crafts. The lot also includes a large earthenware decorative bowl with a deeply scalloped gilt-edged rim, featuring a pink-washed interior and floral and berry transfer-printed motifs to the exterior. An assortment of figural ceramic duck items is present, including a triple-duck figurine and individual duck-form egg cups. General tableware includes a white ceramic mug with a lobed body and floral decoration, several plain white ceramic bowls, and a serving dish with a floral spray and scalloped edge.
