Lot 263: An Assortment of Vintage Ceramics, Metalware, and Household Sundries
This lot comprises an assortment of domestic items, kitchenware, and decorative objects. The ceramic selection includes two earthenware plates, one with a green transfer-printed floral pattern and the other with a polychrome Indian Tree style pattern. Also included is a small ceramic bowl with a yellow floral interior, a porcelain saucer with a purple lustre oriental-style motif, a white oval dish, and a small white bowl. Metalware consists of a red lithographed Typhoo tea tin, a hammered-effect chrome-plated hot water jug or teapot with a black composite handle, a wire toast rack, and a pair of embossed silver-plated dwarf candlesticks. Further items include two small white-metal bowls and a galvanized metal pail. Glassware includes a large clear serving bowl, a smaller clear dish, a glass bird figurine with internal swirling, and a boxed set of four coloured glass EH Excellent Houseware tea light holders.
