Lot 273: An Assortment of English Bone China including Royal Albert Lavender Rose and Mixed Glassware
A collection of twentieth-century British ceramics and assorted glassware. The ceramic portion is primarily composed of Royal Albert bone china in the Lavender Rose pattern, featuring transfer-printed pink and lavender rose sprigs with gilt rims. Pieces in this pattern include tea and side wares and a cream jug, with bases bearing the Royal Albert Lavender Rose backstamp. The lot also contains Duchess bone china decorated with red rose transfers, and various other floral-patterned wares including plates with rose and ribbon motifs. Notable ceramic forms include an octagonal serving bowl with polychrome floral decoration and an Imari-style side plate with a geometric border in orange, black, and gold. The glassware includes cut glass stemware with diamond and fan cutting, a set of four tumblers with red and blue wave motifs, clear glass highballs, and a pair of glass candlesticks.
