Lot 448: An industrial green enamel pendant shade and a Moroccan-style pierced metal lantern
This lot consists of two lighting items. The first is a vintage-style industrial pendant shade finished in dark green vitreous enamel with a white interior. It is fitted with a white ceramic bulb holder and a length of cut white electrical flex. The second item is a Moroccan-style hanging candle lantern, often referred to as Shebka-style, featuring a hexagonal body with pierced filigree metalwork and glass panel inserts. The lantern has a conical top with a hanging ring and a hinged side door, currently containing a used pink pillar candle. Identification tags marked S 76 are attached to both items, and the lantern is labelled with lot number 448 from Liskeard Auction Rooms.
