Lot 492: Two Vintage Games Comprising the EYE Board Game by Mind Games and a 750 Piece World Map Jigsaw Puzzle
This lot consists of two vintage recreational items. The first is the EYE board game, produced by Mind Games circa 1984. The game features a circular black plastic board with a rotating spiral mechanism designed to reveal various colour arrangements through apertures. The set is housed in its original pictorial cardboard box, which features surrealist interior artwork including a scene with a cat and a butterfly. The packaging identifies the game as being designed to be to games what Professor Rubik did for puzzles and includes text in eight languages: English, French, Japanese, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, and Dutch. The second item is a 750-piece jigsaw puzzle titled World, featuring a reproduction of the 1651 Speed map titled A New and Accvrat Map of the World. The puzzle is contained within its original red and yellow cardboard box.
