Lot 333: A collection of monk-themed ceramics including Friar Tuck figures, a decorative grape motif jug, and boxed Cristal d'Arques glassware
An assortment of monk-themed ceramic and porcelain items, comprising a large glazed ceramic biscuit barrel, multiple figurines in various poses including musicians and figures at prayer, and character salt and pepper shakers. Some figures are in the style of the Goebel Friar Tuck series. The lot also contains a vintage ceramic pitcher featuring high-relief decoration of purple grapes and green leaves on a cream-coloured basketweave ground, a white porcelain sauce boat with pink floral sprays, and two boxed sets of Cristal d’Arques glassware. The boxed sets include one Soliflor vase and a pair of Violette vases.
