Buyer's Premium:

A varied collection of vintage tea china and table accessories. The lot features a group of earthenware items decorated with a red transferware pattern depicting birds amongst elaborate foliate scrolls, resembling the Royal Crown Derby Aves pattern. This group includes a cream jug, an open bowl, two tea cups, and several matching saucers and side plates. Also present are porcelain pieces in an Imari-style palette, characterized by cobalt blue borders with heavy gilt scrollwork and hand-coloured transfer vignettes of landscapes and floral motifs. The collection further includes a bone china tea cup and saucer with Lily of the Valley transfers and gilded rims, a tea cup and saucer featuring purple ribbon swags and rosebud motifs with a gilded handle, and a small blue and white transferware cup and saucer. The lot is completed by two toast racks: a three-slot earthenware example with a light green glaze in the Art Deco style, and a five-slot wirework metal rack with a central loop handle. Visible marks include a purple printed crown backstamp on the purple ribbon cup and an incised number 1006 on the base of a red transferware piece.
