Lot 783: A Vintage Steamer Trunk, New Home Sewing Machine, and an Assortment of Tools and Light Fixtures
A collection of vintage items featuring a wooden steamer trunk and a portable sewing machine. The trunk is constructed of wood with black-painted metal strapping and reinforced corner protectors. It is fitted with iron latches and side handles, currently showing significant surface oxidisation. A paper lot label from Liskeard Auction Rooms is adhered to one corner. The interior of the trunk contains an assortment of items including two industrial-style aluminium light fixtures with power cords and various aged metal hand tools. Accompanying the lot is a New Home brand portable sewing machine housed in a cream-coloured plastic body with a matching hard plastic carry case. The machine features integrated dials for stitch selection, width, and length adjustment. All electrical items are untested.
