A vintage unit standard and associated parade equipment for the 35th Plymouth (St Mary’s) Girl Guide unit, based at St Mary’s Church, Plymouth. The flag is constructed from a blue fabric ground with yellow fabric appliqué work. The central emblem is the trefoil of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, featuring two five-pointed stars. The upper section is marked 35TH PLYMOUTH and the lower section (ST MARY’S). The standard is mounted on a two-piece sectional turned dark wood parade pole featuring a brass sleeve joint. The lot is accompanied by a dark brown leather parade harness comprising a shoulder strap and a bucket for the pole base. A Liskeard Auction Rooms lot sticker for lot 621 is attached to the pole.
