Lot 622: A Collection of Decorative Ornaments and a Traditional Wood Coffee Table
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative items and a piece of furniture. The eagle clock figurine is produced by The Leonardo Collection and depicts a bald eagle with wings spread, perched on a rock-form base. The integrated clock dial is marked The Leonardo Collection Est. 1980 and features Roman numerals. The ceramic dolphin figurine is finished in a turquoise glaze and depicts the animal leaping from a wave; it retains an original Anglia Pottery label from Billinghay, Lincolnshire. The glass beer stein features an etched woodland scene with a stag and is fitted with a hinged pewter lid with a shell-form thumbpiece. The collection also includes two crystal pieces: a 24% PbO lead crystal cube with an internal 3D laser-etched design of three dolphins and a circular paperweight featuring an intaglio-etched coat of arms and the name SMITH. The rectangular coffee table is made of wood with a warm-toned finish and features two inset glass panels on the top surface. It includes a lower tier with a woven cane-effect inlay and is supported by four turned legs.
