Lot 133: Three terracotta garden pots
A collection of three terracotta garden pots comprising one large ovoid jar and two smaller bulbous planters. The large jar features a wide rolled rim and horizontal ribbing across the entirety of the body, a form frequently referred to as an Ali Baba or oil jar style in garden ornamentation. The two smaller planters are of a rounded form with thick, rounded rims and tapered bases. All pieces are constructed from unglazed red earthenware. No manufacturer or maker marks are visible on any of the items.
