A large glazed ceramic garden planter of tapered circular form. The exterior is decorated with horizontal bands of mid-blue against a pale blue-grey ground. The vessel features a thick, rounded rim and a tapered body. The interior is unglazed and features four drainage holes to the base. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the body or within the base. The item is accompanied by a lot tag numbered 246 and a descriptive label stating: VERY LARGE BLUE STRIPY GLAZED POT.
