Lot 289: An Assortment of Glassware, Ceramics, and Decorative Collectibles Including Adderley Bone China and Embossed Glass Bottles
An assortment of various decorative items, glassware, and household collectibles. The collection features a group of clear glass stemware, tumblers, and a moulded glass decanter with a matching stopper. Included are several aqua glass bottles with embossed lettering, with one marked HOLBROOK & CO and another marked L. ROSE & CO LTD and FRUIT JUICES. Ceramic items comprise various floral-encrusted ornaments and centerpieces, one of which bears a green printed backstamp on the base with a crown and the words Adderley, EST 1789, BONE CHINA, and MADE IN ENGLAND, accompanied by hand-painted red marks L 2 and 10. The collection also includes several porcelain trinket boxes with floral and butterfly decorations, a small floral-decorated creamer, and three glass bird figurines in yellow, grey, and multicoloured glass. Completing the lot are a small brass-cased bedside clock and a floral paperweight.
