Lot 305: An Assortment of Vintage Tools and Collectibles Including Stanley and Bernard's Examples
This lot consists of an assortment of vintage tools, miniatures, and medical equipment. The collection features black-painted cast-iron miniature sewing machines with silver-toned spoked hand wheels and wooden cribbage boards with inlaid detailing. Hand tools included in the lot are a Stanley No. 151 metal spokeshave, marked MADE IN ENG, and a pair of parallel-jaw pliers by W. Schollhorn Co. of New Haven, Conn., stamped with BERNARD’S patent dates from 1890 and 1903. A tan canvas roll contains a selection of medical instruments, including scalpels, scissors, tweezers, and glass components. Additionally, the lot contains several printing blocks and a pair of early-style headphones with a metal headband and fabric-wrapped wiring.
