Lot 469: A Collection of Vintage Games, Aviation Magazines, and a Handheld Dictation Device
A mixed group of vintage collectables comprising games, electronics, and publications. The lot includes a Scrabble De Luxe Edition manufactured by J. W. Spear and Sons Ltd, Enfield, Middlesex, England, featuring a turntable board, four scoring racks, and plastic letter tiles within its original black cardboard box. Also present is a Stocks and Shares card game from the Pepys Series, housed in a red and yellow illustrated box. The games are completed by a Great Wall Double Nine dominoes set, made in England, containing dark-coloured moulded pieces with white pips in a green cardboard slipcase. The electronic component consists of an Olympus Pearlcorder S701 microcassette recorder with a black plastic body, accompanied by a pack of three Olympus XB 60 microcassettes. Included in the assortment are three publications: Aircraft of the Aces: Hurricanes to the Fore published by Osprey Aviation, an issue of In the Air from the Marshall Cavendish collection, and issue 37 of Imagination magazine.
