Lot 470: A collection of English cut crystal and stainless steel tableware
An assortment of cut crystal and stainless steel items. The glassware includes a large cut glass basket with a tall arched handle, featuring fan and cross-hatched cutting with a scalloped rim. There is a heavy footed bowl with deep diamond-patterned cutting and three integral feet. A dressing table set is presented on a rectangular cut glass tray with a serrated edge, comprising three square lidded jars with stepped lids, a small circular open bowl, and a small posy vase. Also included is a tapered cut glass vase and a pair of cylindrical salt and pepper shakers. The tapered vase bears a red and white circular foil label stating Made In English Crystal. The metalware consists of a mid-20th century stainless steel teapot or hot water pot with a hinged lid and black composite knob, and a small open stainless steel cream jug with a simple loop handle.
