Lot 558: A Vintage Rosita Graduated Simulated Pearl Necklace and a Collection of Ty-phoo Tea Trade Cards
This lot comprises a vintage single-strand graduated pearl necklace by Rosita and a collection of Ty-phoo Tea trade cards. The necklace consists of a single strand of cream-coloured simulated pearls, graduating in size from approximately 3mm at the ends to 8mm at the centre. The necklace is fitted with an oval-shaped filigree box clasp featuring a pierced design. The reverse of the clasp is stamped SILVER. The jewellery is presented in its original elongated burgundy leatherette case with a brass-tone push-button latch. The interior lid is lined with cream silk and printed with the Rosita brand name in gold-tone cursive script, while the base is fitted with tan velvet. Also included is a group of vintage trade cards from the Ty-phoo Tea Series of 20, featuring maritime and space subjects including No. 1 Aircraft Carrier, No. 6 Cargo Liner, No. 9 Modern Destroyer, and a space station illustration.
