Lot 580: A Collection of Vintage Writing Instruments, Desk Accessories and Collectibles including a Parker Jotter and Antique Propelling Pencil
This lot comprises an assortment of writing instruments and assorted vintage collectibles. The writing instruments include a Parker ballpoint pen, identified as a Jotter Flighter model, featuring a brushed stainless steel barrel and cap with a polished steel arrow clip, housed in its original clear plastic and grey molded presentation case. Accompanying this is an antique or vintage propelling pocket pencil crafted from yellow-toned metal with a chased engine-turned geometric pattern and a terminal set with a turquoise-coloured cabochon stone. The collection also includes an Ingersoll 10 lever lock in its original green and black cardboard box, a John Bull Mends tin for puncture repairs, and two thimbles, one ceramic with a floral motif and one silver-toned metal. Further items include a small circular lidded pot with an embossed foliate scroll design, possibly made of Bakelite or a similar early plastic, and a souvenir spoon with an ornate crest terminal and a bowl embossed with a ship and the words Wood Ocean Co. The lot also contains a Goebel Crystal Collection presentation box and a small plastic bag with miscellaneous trinkets.
