Lot 641: Two pairs of Miranda 7-15x35 zoom binoculars
This lot comprises two pairs of vintage zoom binoculars manufactured for the Japanese brand Miranda. Both pairs feature a variable magnification range of 7x to 15x with 35mm objective lenses. The first pair is marked on the shoulder plates with ZOOM, 7-15×35, Field 5.7 degrees AT 7x, and 100m. AT 1000m. This pair includes its original manufacturers cardboard box, a black textured carry case with a red lining, a neck strap, and lens caps. The second pair is marked MIRANDA and features distinctive chequered silver and black decorative rings on the eyepieces. This pair is accompanied by a rigid black leatherette carry case and a neck strap. Both binoculars are constructed with metal bodies finished in a black pebble-grain texture and include central focusing wheels with right-eye dioptre adjustments.
