Lot 643: A Pair of Three-Light Patinated Metal and Glass Taper Candelabra and a Collection of Candles
A pair of three-light table candelabra constructed from dark patinated metal frames. Each candelabrum features a central vertical stem terminating in an umbrella-like arrangement of curved wire arms from which various faceted glass and crystal-style pendants and bead strings in clear and smoky tones are suspended. Three scrolled arms radiate from the lower section of the central column, each designed to hold a standard taper candle and fitted with a clear, flower-moulded glass bobeche. These are traditional wax candle holders and are non-electrical. Accompanied by a collection of taper candles in several colours, including red, dark green, cream, and silver-toned, some of which remain in original plastic wrapping. No maker marks or signatures are present.
