Lot 795: Mid-20th-century teak-toned hardwood dining carver armchair
A mid-20th-century dining carver armchair in the Mid-Century Modern style, likely of British manufacture. The chair is constructed from a teak-toned hardwood and features a high back with three vertical splats and a curved top rail with subtle horn terminals. It is designed with shaped, down-swept open arms and stands on four square-section tapering legs. The drop-in seat is upholstered in a vintage geometric woven fabric with a repeating pattern in shades of brown, ochre, and cream. No manufacturer marks or stamps are visible on the piece. Auction house labels for Lichfield Auction Centre, including Lot 795, and a pink circular sticker marked 32 are present on the top rail.
