Lot 797: A set of contemporary dining chairs and a matching dining table
A group of high-back dining side chairs featuring frames constructed from a hardwood with a dark reddish-brown stain. Each chair has a backrest designed with five slender, vertically curved slats and a matching shaped top rail. The seats are upholstered in a textured, multi-tonal fabric featuring a brown and cream geometric weave pattern. Included is a matching rectangular dining table with a corresponding finish and simple, square-section legs. No manufacturer marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the finished surfaces. Small adhesive auction tracking stickers with numbers including 751 are present on the table and chair frames. The design is characteristic of late 20th-century mass-produced dining furniture.
