Lot 798: A Mid-20th Century Oak-Framed Armchair with Red Plush Upholstery
A single mid-20th century armchair of British origin, dating circa 1930s-1950s. The frame is constructed from oak, featuring broad, out-swept curved armrests terminating in turned front uprights. The seat and back are fully upholstered in a red plush velvet fabric. A handwritten tag on the seat reads Metal frame chair and oak / 7527 / cross / £5, indicating an internal metal spring construction. A white adhesive lot sticker numbered 798 is present on the right armrest.
